REGISTRATION OF ADDITIONAL QUALIFICATIONS
Medical practitioners are encouraged to register additional qualifications with the Medical Board as this assists Board staff with enquiries from the general public. It is however, a requirement for Psychiatrists to register their Fellowship with the Medical Board, if they are to meet the requirements of Section 17, of the Mental Health Act 1996.

PROCESS FOR REGISTRATION OF ADDITIONAL QUALIFICATIONS
Medical practitioners must complete an Application Form for Registration of Additional Qualifications (available in Registration Forms section) and pay the applicable fee of $30. The original document evidencing Fellowship etc, or alternatively a certified copy of the document must be shown to the Board.
